Don't buy them if you intend to use them for temporary connections. Unfortunately I bought these 6ft for use with the church band which is set up every Sunday. This socket contains very cheap sockets and they no longer hold the plugs securely after about 25 insertions and removals. Plugs now simply fall out with the slightest movement. A total waste of limited church funds. You might be okay with plugging something in and leaving it plugged in forever.
