So cool! I use cone coils (mostly polyester or #69 nylon). Advantages: + I now have my thread spools under control. Tails no longer wag tangled. + When using a larger thread spool (#69 polyester), it sometimes slipped down and got tangled at the bottom of the thread spool or spool pin. You know what jerks you get from time to time? This coil mesh eliminates that problem. + Not too tight, the thread easily winds up with the stitch on the cones. + VERY ECONOMICAL !Disadvantages: - Not a big problem, but a little more difficult to see the color of the thread. But for me it's worth it. TBD: Time will tell if this web will hold its shape over time. But it's so economical that when the spool is empty I can throw it away and thread a new fabric onto a new spool.
