I bought it a year ago in March 2018 (now February 2019). I used them from time to time and kept them in a special tool box in my truck. Over time, about 1/3 of the smaller 1/4" holders and some of the larger 3/8" holders broke. Not a big deal since I bought extra ones. But I have been using them today (since October 2018). I found that almost all of the 1/4 holders were already broken or falling apart when I tried to remove the bushing. About a third of the larger 3/8 and 1/2 holders were also broken. (See image above) And my Metric and Standard clips were the same. The only thing I can think of is that I live in lower Pennsylvania where winter temperatures can drop to 25C (like last month) but mostly stay around the low to mid 30C. They can be good for a kitchen drawer or just for indoor use. But considering how many of them broke in the first 6 months and that most of them are after cold weather---I say the buyer should be careful. As for me, I'll buy new metal clips as soon as I'm done with them.
