I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

If you manage to  it for 20-24k, then this is a top purchase, I see little more sense.
I don’t know what i7 9700 and i9 represent from me, but buying i7 8700k you will not be 1 year ahead of the planet (at least your friends), the percentage shows super performance.
