Expensive but screws seem to be better quality metal than others, tool provided works great

I have bought several of these screws from different sellers. It's a little more expensive (for what you're buying) but the heads hold some pressure and the tool has a good grip. I buy a new set every time I put the bottom of the case back on and if the screwdriver slips off the top of the screw that screw ends up in the bin. This is important when screwing into holes that have seen multiple screws and the aluminum is beginning to loosen. Also, with some other screws, if the driver slips off…

Exactly what I needed!

If I took my computer in for repair (it didn't have three screws on the bottom separating it from the rest of the computer) it would surely cost a fortune. Instead - for a few dollars I was on my way in no time. LOVE the magnetic tip screwdriver - REALLY useful for such small screws!

Better than the original screws!

I originally ordered this kit to replace a couple of broken screws. It turns out that "Apple-certified" doesn't mean the technician used the right screwdriver. That left me with three (at best) difficult-to-remove screws and one screw that was completely removed, all thanks to the battery change. Thought I would just replace all the bolts with this kit just in case. All screws tighten easily and are less prone to abrasion than the originals. I'm glad all ten screws hold my laptop together…

The screws are good, but the screwdriver is very soft.

I purchased this product because my 15" MacBook Pro Retina kept having the screws on the bottom falling out. Although the screws that came with this kit still work fine, the screwdriver was more than enough barely enough a month later to get 5-6 screws before stripping, although I was extra wary after reading reviews that it was soft metal.

The screws for A1398 reportedly didn't work with this model (MBP 15 " Retina Mid 2015)

The screwdriver included in this set worked quite well (although the metal on the screwdriver is a relatively soft material). ) The However, the main issue with this set is that the screws supplied *do not match* the Macbook Pro model they are supposed to fit (A1398, MPB 15" Retina, Mid 2015). I aligned the original with the screws I had next to the screws that came with it and they were different. Didn't work as advertised.

Poorly finished and coated

They are locking coated on the end where the thread starts and will not engage. If you use force, you risk blowing off your Mac's faucets. You can also see under a 10x magnifying glass that the lead threads are badly milled and do not snap into place so easily without a coating. Stay away from them.

Perfect computer components

Did exactly what I needed for my 2015 MBP. I previously repaired the screen and some of the screws came loose. This tool allowed me to tighten and replace the missing bolts. Thank you!

The screws were fine but the screwdrivers started to wear out after loosening half of all the screws on the laptop causing some of the screws to break. I had to use a drill to remove some loose screws.
