I bought these to keep mixed acrylic paint in. They allow me to mix up custom colors or use additives, then store the leftovers for future use or retouching. They are airtight. I tested with plain water and a vigorous shaking first. They passed that test, so I have been using them for the paint and have had no dry-outs yet.My only complaint is a HUGE one - the lids are very easily broken. There were some already broken in the sleeve I received new. Plus I have had several break on me during use. I can only home there are a few extras included in the package.Overall - they do the job. They are meant to be disposable, so no, they aren't super durable and they won't last forever. But I would buy again.
