I was hesitant to buy this despite so many good reviews, I've seen a few where the color was highlighted. I've seen other negative reviews about it not having a duvet, but I suspect that's because the reviewers didn't realize it was a duvet cover and not a comforter. This photo was taken after 2 washes! I washed the sheet once and then an hour after I put the bed down my poor old cat had an accident and peed on it! I was apprehensive about the second wash but was relieved to find that the colors on the purple/grey topsheet I put in the wash didn't fade at all! I washed these delicate ones and they came out perfect. I would also recommend using Clorox color protection soap. These are beautiful soft sheets that completely brighten up my bedroom! Wonderful! ***Edit*** I see some people having trouble getting their comforter into the duvet cover. What I like to do is take the top corners of the duvet cover and place them in the top corners of the duvet cover (opposite side of the zipper). Then I take the top corners of the duvet cover (make sure the duvet cover stays in place) and give it a good shake once or twice to pull the rest of the duvet cover inside the duvet cover. Then I tuck the bottom corners of the duvet into the bottom corners of the duvet cover, zip up, and give it a shake or two to get both pieces in place. Of course it will move over time and you will have to adjust both parts but this has never bothered me and this is the easiest way to put both back in place!
