This portable sound machine comes with a travel case and can be powered by mains power or 3 AA batteries. The included cable is USB-C, but you'll need to provide your own outlet or use a USB port. I mainly use it with batteries and so far it has lasted a month and a half and I haven't had to change the batteries yet. . I don't use it every day, but during that time I probably used it for a total of 48 hours. It has 9 different sounds: heartbeat, electricity, ocean, rain, summer night, white noise and 3 different lullabies. Each with its own button. The lullaby mood only plays one lullaby at a time in an endless loop. It doesn't cycle between 3. My kids don't seem to mind hearing the same lullaby on a loop though, so that's not a deterrent for me. There is a timer function so you don't have to leave it on all the time. Night. The options are: 15, 30 or 60 minutes. It would have been nice to have a slightly longer option, but overall it worked out great.
