This item is exactly as shown in the pictures but something seems to be missing. They are definitely not waterproof as water will seep through. The earplugs just lie on the ear and are very loose. A good nudge and he'll be ousted. The edges are sharp, so comfort depends on how often the stylist nudges the earpad. I'm not sure of the value of this item as they are flimsy and just don't impress me. While browsing the site I just noticed another type that looks like a better option. UPDATE: No, not worth the money! My daughter tried to use them when dying her hair and they fell off at the slightest touch. We spent more time putting them back in place and the whole process took twice as long as usual! We ended up removing the earbuds so we could do that. Not that I will buy again.
