Review on Supersonic SC 2812 Portable Lightweight Widescreen by Shawn Sims

GENERALLY I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE TV BUT TO SEE THE SCREEN CLEARLY (ie sitting or standing) I have to change the angle of the TV which leads me to believe it is an LCD. THE BOX IT WAS PACKED IN AND THE TV ITSELF SAYS IT IS LED BUT THE TITLE OF THE MANUAL SAYS "PORTABLE PLAYER AND LCD TV" WHICH LEADS ME TO FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS! I MAY BE WRONG BUT SOMETHING IS WRONG! IF YOU NEED A SALESMAN'S HELP, FORGET IT! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE, I CANNOT FIND ANY INSTRUCTIONS. DON'T BUY A WARRANTY BECAUSE YOU MAY NOT GET IT! I TRIED TO SEND THE SC-2812 FOR REPAIR WHICH NEVER WORKED WITH ANY WARRANTY COMPANY. CAUSE: SOMETHING IS CUTTING IN THE TV. WHEN I REFUSED HELP FROM THE SELLER AND AMAZON WHO TOLD ME FUNDAMENTALLY THAT YOU BOUGHT IT WITH WARRANTY. DO NOT CALL US, CONTACT THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND OR THE SELLER. SUMMARY: I gave up and fixed the SC-2812 TV myself! The lithium battery has not been installed or screwed to any brackets. THE BATTERY WAS VIRTUALLY STUCK AND TAPED TO THE BACK PLATE and came loose resulting in the wiring to disconnect to recharge the battery. I had to install a homemade battery mount to keep the battery charged. But I like the TV and I'm happy with it NOW BECAUSE I HAVE TO FIX IT MYSELF! GO ON THE INTERNET AND SEARCH ANYWHERE BUT AMAZON AND RETAILERS for a TV that runs on a wall outlet and has an internal battery. YOU BUY IT THROUGH AMAZON - YOU WILL BE EXCUSED BECAUSE YOU LEAVE ME AMAZING. Won't renew Revain anymore because of this junk! I hope you take my advice because you get what you pay for and I hope Revane apologizes. All I got was a COMPUTERIZED STACK OF DUPLICATE TALKS FROM AMAZON. I wonder if this review will be published? The first one didn't, as Revane considered my previous review to be negative in terms of PR! As a 34-year-old American Express cardholder, they wanted to help, but my situation arose 30 days after purchase and the dispute could not be submitted, which is very understandable! I am a retired airline pilot and involved in a process with ALPA (Airline Pilots Association) to BOYCOTT SELLER and AMAZON. The DC-based ALPA Union is conducting a thorough investigation; so time will tell if AMAZON fires this supplier (does not name the supplier for legal reasons) to keep the current status!
