Bought this for my daughter for her birthday - she loves music boxes. The thought of putting her together with her father and the music box at the end was a great experience. Unfortunately, this is too difficult for her to do alone and even when done, it doesn't work properly. The design relies far too much on intricate pieces (which you rely on being cut just right) that fit together perfectly. We can have the carousel spin about 5 notes (maximum) before it stops and requires manual pressure to start moving again. So disappointed. And because my husband is a nuclear engineer who meticulously follows directions, I know he did the right thing.
