Review on 🏠 Thermo-Kitty Playhouse & Duplex Heated Cat House: Ultimate Comfort with Cat Scratcher by Roger Mitchell

We have 5 cats , 2 of them are retired . (Ages 14 & 17) All but one of our cats love sleeping on my electric blanket so I was hoping this would be their hit. When I pull out an electric blanket, cats are drawn to it like flies! God forbid I really need to get up for a few minutes. When I come back, the ceiling is covered with cats and there is no place for me! LOL The house itself could be a bit sturdier. As it's mostly cardboard, I'm not sure how well it will hold up with a very large kitty sitting on the top layer repeatedly. Our largest cat weighs about 13 pounds. No questions so far! The top scratching post is a nice feature, although most of the time our cats are only interested in sleeping on it. The inner "cave" is a bit small. It's really not suitable for large kittens. Our small cats were able to get in with no problem, but the larger ones had some problems. However, they didn't seem to mind. (We all know how cats love to stuff themselves into the smallest of boxes and spaces! LOL) A heating pad is a great addition! I wish you could leave it plugged in and just turn it on and off when not in use. However, it is warm to the touch (NOT hot) and warm enough to keep the kitty comfortable. We have a very dramatic cat who always seems cold. If there is a heater or an electric blanket, it will appear immediately and will not leave this place. How general. It goes without saying that she likes this house because it is HER private heated space. Oh, and the added catnip is a sweet treat for our kitties. We give them sparingly because it drives them crazy. But appreciated! :)
