Stylish Steve Madden Kids' Reversible Belt for Boys Review

We had this belt not too long ago, so I can't vouch for durability (buckling/stretching and tearing). That being said, I've had straps in the past that started fraying before my eyes after the first two uses. I can say that this product is not. Advantages: Price reversible. Easily reversible for a child. Cons: I don't know if it's really a minus, but it shouldn't contrast with the turning color, maybe it's just me, but you need to look for it.

My nine-year-old son has to wear a belt every day in addition to his uniform. I love that it's reversible so he can wear it with other pants at the weekend or outside of school. This is a really nice thick belt that has withstood the daily bullying of a fourth grader and has performed well. My son has no problem loosening or re-fastening the buckle which he has had trouble with using other harnesses in the past. Worth every penny.

For the most part it was a very good belt but my son only used it for a few months and the buckle itself broke. May not be adjustable.

Bought 2 of these. The first one broke after 2 weeks. I thought it was a fluke so I bought another one and it broke in the same spot about 2 months later. Made cheap. Do not buy.

Bought this for our 5.5 year old to wear to our wedding. He has a thin waist so the belt was in the smallest hole. That's an excellent quality and he will definitely be a match for it. Will definitely buy again.

Looks great and fits our preppy 2 year old boy. He's tall and a bit thin compared to average. There was one hole left in the belt and we didn't have to do it ourselves.

This has nice texture and works for both brown and back. Getting the buckle to change is pretty easy. The only downside is that some of the belt loops on the trousers are a bit wide and do not fit all children's trousers.

It fits our wiry 11 year old boy by the 4th belt hole. He received it at the same time as Timberland's black belt and has worn it for much longer. This one, he says, is stiff and a little uncomfortable. It is immediately clear that this is not real leather.

I thought a medium size would fit my 8 year old boy but they are too thin for this belt. It's kind of difficult to understand the dimensional grid for boys. The belt is fine if on the heavy side. Glad it's reversible.

This is my second purchase of this belt. I ordered for my son last year as it is part of the uniform requirement. This time the belt snapped and snapped. I don't know what happened but it's very disappointing.

Easy to attach and the quality is good. My son can also be rough with his clothes. It's not unusual for a boy, but I'm just amazed that he still looks good when he's in his Sunday clothes. I like reversibility.

My son has been using this belt for 3 months now and it is already showing signs of wear that compare to years not months. I cannot recommend this belt.

This is the basic belt for boys. It is reversible which makes it versatile. It fits easily into the belt loops of most pants. Large buckle allows children to ride alone.

Loved the reversible brown/black version. It helps if you have different shoes and they are perfect for my 7 year old with limited room to grow.

Bought this belt for a 6 year old almost 7 year old medium sized kid. He wears pants size 7/8. This is the smallest hole so it has room to grow.

Tired of making extra notches available locally on straps that are too long. This belt is perfect for him who wears a size 8 and I can see it would work in a size 10 as well.

The brown side is really dark. Both sides looked really black. Small size 6-7 for boys. Medium fits boys size 8 in the smallest hole. If your child is 7-8 years old, I would recommend a small one

Pretty good belt. The reversible aspect is definitely handy, especially for a boy who doesn't often wear a belt, which makes using multiple belts not very practical.

My son loves this belt because it is reversible. One belt, two looks. The brown side has cream stitching, the black side has black stitching. The buckle is easy to change, just pull and twist. The size chart is useless as it is for men. Our son wears pants size 8-10 and the average belt size is perfect for him.

I figured we could at least get through a whole school year with him. I bought it in April and it broke in half tonight. So it actually took about 5 months. I don't know how it happened but my son sat up and said he felt it crack. The buckle just came off the belt. I think you get what you pay for.
