Columbia Boys' Wide Classic Reversible Belt - 1 Inch Width Review

I wanted this because of the belt that goes around her ribs to cosplay Jinx so I decided to buy a kid's belt. To my surprise, the landing was great! However, I bought two packs, one dark brown and one light brown, and only received light brown. It wasn't even what I wanted since Jinx's belt was dark brown. Otherwise the quality was good. Didn't try to get a second one, too much hassle lol.

I don't like giving bad reviews, but unfortunately the buckle on this belt broke. It is a very nice belt and my son loved it but he has only worn it a few times over the course of a year and the buckle just popped out of the slot on the belt. Don't think it's fixable. While I recommend the belt for its looks, I'm not sure about the durability if this could be a design flaw.

This belt looked very nice, but after about 4 uses, the hinge part of the buckle broke. This is the part you can rotate to wear the belt on the "reversible" side. I may have just received a faulty belt but I'm giving it three stars because it looked good and maybe the fault was with that particular belt and not all the others.

In the delivery state, the processing quality is quite questionable. The edges of the belt look and feel "lumpy" due to what appears to be the black glue used to glue the brown side to the black. I then discovered that perhaps the belt itself is too wide to fit easily through a real buckle. I assume this will quickly wear down the glue and faux brown "skin". This belt was great until the swivel broke rendering the belt useless and irreparable. It fell apart when my son wore it after only 3 months. The leather is holding up well and the strap looks almost new, but the buckle has come loose from the carabiner. He hoped it would take time to grow out of it, but it wasn't.

The concept of a switchable belt (from brown to black leather) seemed like a good idea, but it wasn't. My son wore this belt to church twice and played next door once and it fell apart. Very disappointed. Columbia is one of my favorite brands.

It broke after 40 days. Thanks for attention. Worn probably 12 times I know it's not the best quality but it should last more than a month!

Only ONE strap comes. The photo is very deceptive. This belt is "reversible", so one side is brown and the other is black. I didn't read the description, I see it now says "belt" not belt. However, I am misled by the photo showing you are buying two straps. Final complaint: the clear tape on the buckle left an ugly mark on the metal. I had to use Goof Off to take it off.

This is a photo from the black side. The color does not reach the edges, so it seems that the brown border runs along the entire belt. The sides are also brown. I know it's a cheap belt, but it just sucks.

This is the second Columbia belt I've bought for my grandson. First, the strap came out of the buckle body. I was able to put it back in place, but after a few wears, the strap swivel broke and fell off. It couldn't be repaired so I bought another one and within a week of wearing it the swivel broke. This is a poorly designed product. Attention buyers.

I liked the look of the belt and the fact that it's reversible. But the buckle broke when my son put it on for the first time. The return window is closed so I lost the $$$ I spent on it. Very disappointed with the quality and durability.

I bought the belt in May 2021, in less than a year it wore out and the ends separated. The belt is not leather. My belts usually last about five years.

I love the belt, unfortunately I don't measure my weight correctly so mine is a bit small. Although it's my fault I think they are true to size.

The overall quality is fantastic. This is a very nice belt but I thought the small size would fit my 7 year old. I was wrong. I didn't measure it before buying either, probably that's my bad luck. I have a younger son who might fit when he's a bit older so not much to lose here.

This is the second one I bought after the first one broke and now this one broke too. I like their looks but they need to work on durability.

I like the flexibility to switch between black and brown. If you're going to make this belt the PERFECT addition to your child's wardrobe, you can't go wrong with this purchase, it just fits everyone!

Bought for my grandchildren for their wedding. One of them didn't even last long enough to make it through the entire event. I am very disappointed in them.

The product advertised says it is a reversible brown/black belt but it is not. The belt is brown on the outside and black on the inside. But the belt cannot be worn on both sides, it can only be worn as a brown belt. Otherwise it's a good strap but not what was advertised.

I bought this belt for my son for Christmas but he only wore it 3-4 times. The buckle broke last night. Very bad quality. I want to return the money.

The belt was good and fit well. After about 18 months, the layers began to separate. You can still wear it, but I don't know for how long.
