I think it took 3 months
This belt was great until the swivel broke rendering the belt useless and irreparable. It fell apart when my son wore it after only 3 months. The leather is holding up well and the strap looks almost new, but the buckle has come loose from the carabiner. He hoped it would take time to grow out of it, but it wasn't.
