Update 1/12/19: downgraded to 2 stars. After 6 months of regular use, the optical input began to fail (every 1-2 seconds, the sound disappears for a split second). Aux and BT seem fine. Disappointing as the rest of my experience was good. First Review: This is a solid little stereo bookshelf driver with great connectivity. Loud, clear, clear. helped me clean up my desktop stereo/entertainment center by incorporating gain and volume control, SPDIF, Bluetooth (for my phone), aux in, aux out and USB connectivity in one device. Four suggestions for improving the product: 1) The display is very small. Possibly better another display or other displays instead of the display 2) a small cracking noise for the output when changing the input source - not a big problem, but solvable 3) the universal remote control took some getting used to. A more specific remote control or clearer button labels would be helpful. 4) Auto shut off when no signal would be a great addition
