This glow-in-the-dark fleece blanket is suitable for babies. The material is fleece, very soft and pleasant to the touch. I chose this blanket because it matched my nephew's dinosaur room and I thought it was cool that it glowed. However, I probably wouldn't have chosen this blanket over other cute options if it wasn't for the dinosaur theme. In the photos I've attached, they were taken in total darkness and you can see that some of the dinosaurs weren't fully lit, only partially. I was hoping it would shine more. Overall, the glow in the dark setting makes this blanket different from a regular blanket and my 2 year old nephew loved having his dinosaurs light up. If you are giving this product as a gift and you care about presentation and packaging, see the picture I provided in my review as it is not the prettiest gift packaging. As can be seen from the photos in my review, the duvet is packaged in airtight plastic. I would prefer some kind of box if it was a gift.
