Super sturdy/ base could be better material
I bought this dog house for my 7 pound poodle that liked to go in his old one and "dig" before he laid down to sleep. Unfortunately, he scratched the old one so bad, the base tore. I was hoping this would be a better base, but its the exact same material. Not sure what it is called, but it reminds me of garden weed fabric. If your dog doesn't "dig or scratch" this dog house is perfect. Trying to figure out how to velcro the cushion to the bottom so he cant get to the base.
- Cats love it. I added a cushion at the bottom because the original seemed skimpy
- The bed may be difficult to clean due to its plush material and cave-like design
