My laptop is a big ole 15.4 inch MSI gaming rig that overheats easily. My old Walmart laptop cooling pad just didn't make it, so I ordered this 1. In general, larger fans mean more airflow and less noise. This laptop stand makes it possible! I see that the temperature is up to 30°C lower than before! (Yes, the resting temperature of 70°C was pretty bad, I know. But now it's at a much safer level of 40*). The open space under the pillow helps air move and when I play it makes a big difference. I also have a small USB desktop fan to help out more and two workers together to keep things nice and cool!Update: the left fan just died and now it's making a horrible whining noise I think the fan is out of balance or something like that.
