I have been looking for a good folding desk that I can put away when I don't need it. The WOHOMO 31.5" folding desk seemed to promise that, and it was the only desk I saw that had rounded corners. Its design seemed similar to another folding desk I had purchased from 4NM, so I figured why not. At the time the cost was $57.The manufacturer included instructions for their customer service if there were any problems, and I had a major one: one of the M6 machine bolts was defective and could not be tightened. WOHOMO does not include extras of these parts like other more thoughtful companies. The customer care card had instructions on who to email or contact via WeChat, promising 24 hour turnaround. I emailed them at their Outlook email address, waited a week, and emailed them again, waited another week. No response. I ended up sourcing my own M6 40mm bolt by buying an assortment here on Walmart that was able to work, so I could evaluate the desk itself.Like many products in this category, this is a desk design that is copied by Chinese manufacturers but vary in their construction. This particular one, the WOHOMO 31.5" Folding Desk, arrives requiring assembly. This is one of the poorest quality desks I've had to assemble. While the legs "fold", there are no hinges or washers to make this process work. The poor quality welds interfere with the folding operation. I would probably expect this to cost US$35 at most at retail, because this is a really cheap piece of furniture that just ships as components that you assemble yourself.So buyer beware, of this and any desk in this general class. Prices are probably high now because of the COVID pandemic Work From Home trend. The customer service is non-existent, and the manufacturer website provides no contact information. There are a lot of excellent Chinese manufacturers out there that do take pride in their products, but this is not one of them.
