Review on Catit Litter Scoop for Cats by Lillian Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

huge and clumsy but works great on crystals.

Wow, the reviewers weren't kidding when they said this thing was huge! I thought it couldn't be bigger than Durascoop which I thought was huge, I was wrong. The grip is a bit wide for my small hand and a bit cramped in my fingers, but I figured maybe I'll get used to it eventually. Surprisingly this scoop is very light, I like it a lot as my Durascoop is heavier. The holes are quite large and why I bought that extra scoop to try is the amazing Purr crystal fresh deodorant I add to our fill goes right through the holes and doesn't get wasted again. My only issue with this shovel is the handle end, I suppose it's supposed to stand on it, but most of us probably don't hold our shovels, which is why I hate them because when I'm shoveling garbage, it digs into my wrist area and is annoying . I'll see if my husband can cut it down, if so I really like it; Heavy-duty plastic scoop that does a great job of getting rid of accidentally stuck urine, sifts so quickly (without shaking the scoop back and forth!) that it cuts my trashing time in half, and as an added item it's only less than $2.50, so glad I have two! IF you're using a non-clumping or clumping clay litter that doesn't clump well, you should discard that scoop! We use clumping clay litter which clumps well 99% of the time so it works for us, but it doesn't pick up random tiny poop or urine balls, you'll need to get another scoop with smaller holes for that.
