I like to have extra room in my jackets so I got an XL (or 1X) rather than a L. Definitely a good choice. The sleeves end a little past the wrist which is a good length. Not tight in the arms or waist which is a blessing. Pockets are a tad shallow so not all that great for holding phones. Great for hands though. An inside pocket would serve better for devices. The chest pocket is great for credit/metro cards and even a passport since it zips up. Handy for quick access while traveling. Hood covers past my forehead so it works well enough to block rain. Not a fan of the drawstring bits in the back, since they bounce like little ropes into the back of my legs. Overall the jacket is not too thick so its good for spring/fall rainy or cool days. I wore it while in London at the end of May and it was perfect for the chill nights and breezy overcast days. I like the Burgundy color I have so i may get another one in green come the fall.
