Important disable first! The pins act like a flat comb, and if you've ever used the flat iron caulking method, you know you need to detangle thoroughly first. This hair straightener heats up quickly and goes up to 500. I would recommend staying on Medium for natural African hair, don't want to burn! This flat iron gave me a naturally straight look instead of straight bones while maintaining volume. Ideal for touching up after styling or as a pre-stage for curls and other styles. The moisturizing button was really cool and I've never seen it on a flat iron before!
