Excellent and elegant watch band. I was looking for something more comfortable to replace the stainless steel strap I used on my Huawei Watch GT. I love the functionality of the technology on my wrist, but I prefer it to look as elegant as possible. $35 might seem like a lot compared to all the $10-$20 leather straps available at Revain, but this one is worth it. That. It consists of two pieces of leather sewn together, sealed at the edges with a polymer coating. It's only on the edge, giving a smooth, durable finish that doesn't spoil the look. Premium leather on top and soft, comfortable calfskin on the bottom. I bought a lighter cognac brown and I'm glad I did. It arrived with the actual color of the picture. This is vegetable tanned, so in the last three months of wearing it has developed a deep, almost burgundy-colored patina, which is just great. I believe if you wish to speed up this process this could easily be accomplished by applying a little neutral shoe polish. One thing to note is that due to vegetable tanned leather they should not be worn in the shower or in the pool even if your watch is designed for a wet environment. Buy a quick-release silicone or nylon band if you want to track swim laps. Replacing quick release straps literally takes seconds. I've been wearing this strap almost constantly for the past three months. I even wear it when I sleep most nights as my watch tracks my sleep cycles. It is perfectly preserved. The only wear and tear is the patina mentioned above, which is more of a feature than a flaw, and the expected shape of my wrist and where I tear it. So here it is. If you're looking for one of the popular $20 leather band brands, consider paying an extra $15 to upgrade to higher quality leather and craftsmanship. I have worn a dress watch for over 25 years and this is the most beautiful, comfortable and durable leather strap I have ever owned.
