Review on Exquisite Spode Italian 5 Piece Place Setting: Enhance Your Table with Timeless Elegance by Tom Roberts

I have ordered a dozen of this pattern and only 4 out of 12 were acceptable! The patterns were indistinct and the blue varied from pale to dark. I was appalled at the lack of quality control from this venerable brand. The cups and saucers are made in China and the pattern on the cups was so distorted I thought they sent me a different pattern! The ware is still made in England, but the sharpness of the patterns and the intensity of the color varied too much. Another thing I didn't notice when ordering from Amazon, the place settings were sent one or two at a time from multiple different sources at different times. It was very difficult to sort through all the orders and returns as they all had the same order number. I don't even know where the good guys came from. However, The Bowl Company provided excellent customer service and, through no fault of their own, the crockery in storage did not meet requirements. Now I'm stuck with the first four place settings that look good and don't know how to complete my set. I've ordered a lot of stuff from Amazon and although I got my money back, the whole process was frustrating. Basically, I blame Spode for sending a poor quality product.
