I bought this mount to upgrade an old CRT TV in my RV. I have a wooden platform that an old TV was sitting on and I just didn't want to drill holes in the walls for a retractable mount. The mount is strong and doesn't allow you to move when rolling down the highway. I really had to get slightly shorter mounting screws as even the shorter of the two screw sizes provided would go all the way through my turntable. My only complaint and reason for deducting 1 star is that the bar is too high and not adjustable. This creates a large gap between the mounting surface and the bottom of the TV. A 24 inch TV only clears my ceiling an inch or two. I could get a bigger TV and use some of the space underneath if the stand was adjustable or shorter. Overall, I'm very happy with the durability, features, and ease of installation of this stand. This allowed me to enlarge my TV a bit, so I'm happy!
