Gallery Glass Instant Strips 17041 Review

I've always made my own "lead" with liquid and the strips stuck well when bent around the designs. The pre-made strips (I bought the narrowest size) are too stiff to use for folding. I tried using them on both the (blank) glass and over the background color and didn't stick to the curves either way. I finally ordered a liquid lead.

Terrible product. It doesn't stick and you have to use a razor to cut it instead of just using your fingernail like I did on my recent lead lines. But this is the only one I could find that was 1/16 inch. The only other product Revain has is an eighth and it's way too thick for what I need. But this one is just awful so don't buy it unless you need 1/16"! Or look elsewhere because his product really isn't worth it.

I have to agree with the LW review. Gallery Glass had a great product in the form of Redi-Lead strips - I use them to create "stained glass". Christmas decorations made of transparent glass balls. I started my jewelry this fall with the thin Redi-Lead strips I kept from last year and then moved on to the new strips.
