Great Door Switch for LED Lights
I installed this switch about 6" from the left side of the jamb to get proper timing on the switch. I want the switch to be on the very edge, but since the switch is on the hinge side at the end of the door, the door has to open about 140 degrees before it moves far enough for the switch to work. This is the correct on/off time. If the switch had a sensitivity adjustment it would be better. It appears to be about 6 inches from it, and it won't turn on unless there's something in that space. If you place it on the side of the door, it doesn't matter. It's a good switch, I'm glad I found it. It's great for turning on and off the 24V LED strip in our pantry.
