Almost perfect for my 12.9 " iPad (UPDATE - Fatal Flaw!)

UPDATE - January 2020: Zipper is now a FAILURE Flaw! I've been using this case for 11 months with my 12.9" iPad Pro and am fully aware of the misplacement of the zipper at the bottom of the case.I thought I could live with this disability but a trip to Disney World proved this disability is fatal and how the plague should be avoided.Switch and removed my iPad and some documents from the suitcase. In the excitement of checking in I put everything back in the suitcase and forgot to zip the BOTTOM suitcase.I picked it up and the iPad crashed onto the stone floor, shattering the screen and smashing the Corners of the iPad Luckily the iPad was still serviceable so I could rely on it on vacation and luckily I had Apple Care+ otherwise I would go unbearably mad Unfortunately, the broken iPad was just an inconvenience that was fixed when I got home and paid $49 to have it replaced with a new iPad. When I first noticed the incorrect placement of the zipper I had to trust my judgment and send the Revain case back immediately. Ignoring my common sense cost me an additional $49. AVOID THIS CASE or suffer the consequences. I can't imagine why the designer thought it would be a good idea to put a zipper on the bottom of the case. ********** Original Review Below ********** I recently bought a 2018 12.9 inch iPad Pro and needed something to take with me when he's not at home. Although I own an Apple case for this iPad, I still feel the need for extra protection, especially in rainy weather. I wanted a soft case with a handle (like the ones I already have for my old 10.5" iPad Pro). After reading reviews of many cases I settled on this one based on the looks and size. I've used this a few times and now find it easier to carry around such a large iPad.As the title suggests this case is almost perfect. The only slight downside is that the zip side of this case is actually the bottom of the case. That's right, you slide your device into the soft, shock-absorbing bottom of the case, two zips close it, then turn it upside down and use the handle to carry it around. One slight negative aspect is that you need to be absolutely sure that you have fully zipped the case around your device, otherwise if there is a gap between the two zippers, something small that is packaged with your device could come loose from the bottom h fall out Instead of packing something with your device, use the zippered pocket on the outside of the bag for cables and the like.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Volume
