Works exactly as described!

Easy to install and keeps my hi-lift jack very secure. I thought it might drive me crazy seeing the jack on the hood all the time, but after a few days I don't even notice it anymore.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

So I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, this thing works but the bolts that come with it suck, you have to run to the hardware store and buy better quality new ones. It works well with my socket, the quality is good but I still find it expensive for the price.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • disappears

The installation instructions are not very clear.

The installation manual must include pictures of the parts. It's a fairly simple set, but the vague instructions make it more complicated than it needs to be. I recommend buyers looking for instructions on YouTube, be sure to watch the video on this model. I also have a very old HiLift jack that was bought in 1975. The holes in my bushing don't line up very well when I install the bushing. I have to use a screwdriver to put the bushing on the bracket. I assume the new bushings have a different…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Good product but expensive.

Looks good, had no issues with the set other than crappy allen keys. One of them didn't match the screws it was supposed to fit on. Luckily I have some in my toolbox. The hardest part is removing the torx screws on the factory hood mounts. I had to *carefully* set them on fire (without damaging the paintwork or the hood). Overall I liked the finished product, the jack sits high enough not to get in the way of the wiper nozzles and this bracket looks neat. Def will need something to hold the…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

It may require a little more work than just screwing.

If they say "No drilling required", they probably never installed them. I have to admit that I had a little trouble installing it. The main problem was in the stamped bracket under the jeep's hood that the hinge and those screws attached to. The bracket is not perfectly aligned with the holes. So when you want to install the screws, they are at such an angle that they want to cross the threads. This prompted me to open up the holes in the hood to give the bolts more room to move. It didn't work

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • old
