I wanted a nice travel mug that I could fill with coffee, tea or hot chocolate during the winter months and take with me to work. I have quite a bit of travel time to get where I'm going, so I needed a good, durable drinking mug. I like the design of the cup. It looks very high quality and has not faded or chipped after washing. (I hand wash all the dishes.) This is a nice, subtle design for a Harry Potter fan. The mug itself isn't that thick and doesn't retain heat and warmth for as long. However, it stays warm for as long as I would expect based on the nature of the mug. (medium-thick plastic, heavy cover). The only issue I'm really concerned with is the lid. The lid is difficult to put on the mug and sometimes it even pops out when it shouldn't. It's hard to put on when there's no drink in it. So imagine it's even harder to put the lid on when you're trying not to spill. Overall this is a good mug and a good price.
