Description of Get Your Little Ones Excited For Bathtime With Sassy'S Harbor Town Rescue Set - Includes Fun Squirter, Strainer, And Lit-Up Buoy, Perfect For Toddlers 6+ Months

The red boat squirts water from three different places, engaging baby. The plane floats in the water and also attaches to the rescue basket. Rescue basket strains water as it's lifted in the air. Place the Buoy in the water and watch as it lights up. Chunky sized characters encourage reaching, grasping, and transferring from one hand to the other

Simple, cute bath toys

We got these for my son as his first bath toys when he was about 6 months old. He didn't really like his baths, and we just wanted to give him something else to focus on for distraction. The crab and octopus are squirt toys and the fish is a terry-covered sponge. He really enjoyed chewing on them and sucking the water out of them. We would give him one to hold while we were drying him off as well. I would rinse them off after each bath and throw them in the dishwasher for a thorough cleaning. I

Pros
  • The kids love this toy. They can spray with it and play for a while with it. They like it.
Cons
  • I loved them until they ended up with mold.

Good toys but water gets stuck inside

Good bath toys, except that the lip on the inside is quite large, and hold a lot of water, even when they are "empty”. We all know what can happen to bath toys that get water stuck inside. I have to spend extra time shaking them out, and leaving them upside down for days to get them fully dry.

Pros
  • The set is BPA-free and phthalate-free
Cons
  • The set may not be suitable for older children who have outgrown bath time toys

Great for young babies

I have a four month old who is just beginning to examine the world with her hands (and mouth). She had trouble holding other bath toys (plastic squirt toys)- but is able to grasp these toys. When we introduce the toys to her at the beginning of her bath (as is our ritual) she looks excited, tracks them with her eyes and tries to reach for them. The octopus' and crab's legs are easy for her to hold and the fish is very easy as well. I suggest these toys for younger babies.

Pros
  • It's made from non-toxic materials, ensuring your child's safety
Cons
  • The strainer may not be effective at draining water or removing debris from the tub

Perfect for little ones

I got this as a gift off of our Walmart registry and absolutely LOVE them. My daughter has been playing with these in the tub ever since she started having purposeful movement. She is now 4 months old and loves to reach for these toys floating in the water around her. Great set of bath toys!

Pros
  • Playing in the bath can be good for your child's development and encourages motor skills
Cons
  • The set may not have enough variety to keep children interested over time

Great clean toys - my new review

Very fun bath toys! Easy to take apart and clean. 4 year old and 18 month old love playing with the squirt toys. Wish I had found them sooner.

Pros
  • The set can help relieve boredom during bath time
Cons
  • The set may not be appropriate for families who prefer more eco-friendly bath time toys

The coolest in toddler scoops!

I got these for a gift for a one year old, and they have worked out really well! They are easy for him to manage because of the textured handles. The 'squeezies' are flexible and much easier for a toddler hand to manage than the perfectly round, thicker ones. Perfect for the pool or the tub! I highly recommend!

Pros
  • Sassy's Harbor Town Rescue Set makes bathtime more exciting for your little ones
Cons
  • The strainer may trap hair and other materials, making it difficult to clean

Just don't use them in the water!

I haven't read all the other reviews, but from what I can see, most people feel the same way I do about these. My baby likes to chew on these and play with them outside of the tub. I have some that have never been in the water and those she plays with along with her other toys. The one's in the tub never quite empty completely and I can only imagine what's growing inside! Also, the plastic is VERY hard. Too hard for a small child to fill with water and use as a squirting toy. So, while these…

Pros
  • The set is durable and made to last
Cons
  • The squirter may be too difficult for some children to squeeze and use

Perfect for the Bath, safe from mold, definitely reccomend

These toys are perfect for the bath. I love that you can take them apart so they can dry properly and not risk yucky mold growing on the inside like most bath toys. My 1 year old loves them

Pros
  • It's great for children who are scared of the water
Cons
  • The set may not be appealing to children who prefer simpler bath time toys

Weird oil inside? for my opinion

When I opened these up and detached the lid it was coated in a weird oil like substance. I returned for a replacement and the replacement had it as well. I really don’t know what to think about this. I don’t feel very comfortable letting my kid play with it when I have no clue what it is. I’ll add that it was a month or so between purchases as it was a birthday present too.

Pros
  • It can help you extend bathtime without feeling like you're wasting water
Cons
  • The set may not be suitable for families who prefer more minimalistic bath time toys

Threw it away right after opening

I read reviews before purchasing the squeeze toys and shouldn’t have gone against my better judgement. I thoroughly hand or air dry my sons toys between water use, but this would’ve just been too difficult for ease of mind with mold. Also, my package seemed like it may have been used? I received it with oil all over the squeeze toys and the box was ripped in a few different places. Could kick myself for even considering; however other than weird inside rim- really nice toys. Strong silicone…

Pros
  • The bright colors and design make it easy to spot in the bath
Cons
  • The squirter may accidentally shoot water in a child's face, causing discomfort

Best bath toys in my review

We bought these for our 5 month old for the bath and she adores them! My husband also loves them for when he is playing with her. They squirt water and are cute. I like the little bag that comes with it and hangs on the wall. It is helpful and we love them! Definitely worth the cost.

Pros
  • The fun colors and design can make teaching your child about water safety more enjoyable
Cons
  • The items may not provide enough variety to keep children interested

Baby loved them, they float and easy to rinse

I bought these for my 4 month old, the first night I put them into her little tub and squirted water, she was in fits of loud laughter - worth every penny! They float and just need to be rinsed in clean water and I store them in a little mesh bag, stuck onto the shower wall, so they air dry and they are dry in a day or so. Two have squirters, the fish is just like a little terry cloth sponge. Very cute.

Pros
  • The set is designed to be safe for little ones to use
Cons
  • The strainer may be difficult to disassemble for cleaning purposes

My 8-month-old chews on anything within reach, and pulled these straight to his mouth the first time we put them in the bathtub. I'm much more comfortable with him chewing soft stuffed toys than the cheap rubber bath toys which are full of toxins. He loves being squirted with these too, which has made bath time so much more fun! These dry relatively quickly (especially if you squeeze them out right afterwards). I'd definitely recommend them to other parents.

Pros
  • The set includes a fun squirter to make bath time feel like an adventure
Cons
  • The set may be too expensive for some families

My 1 year old still Loves these little guys.

These are perfect for our little one. I love that she can play with them in her playpen and since she is learning to walk she can fall back on them and no problem at all. The things that I never thought about until I find myself in the scenario with her. We actually found that she enjoys these more out of the bath. The legs/arms/fins are easy for her to grasp on to and I feel that they are perfectly safe for her. She actually lost one at the store the other day, so I'm thinking about ordering…

Pros
  • It's compatible with other bath toys, adding to your child's collection
Cons
  • The squirter may accidentally shoot water outside of the bathtub, causing a mess

The octopus is my daughters favorite toy.

I have three sets of these because my daughter adores the octopus. She loves the fish and crab as well, but the octopus aka "Squishy" makes her squeal in joy - and nothing can beat seeing/hearing that. I have one in the car, one in living room and one in nursery. The texture and big eyes makes this trio fun. We literally play with Squishy every single day.

Pros
  • Interactive
Cons
  • The set may not be suitable for children who have trouble with social and emotional development

My daughter loves these!

I purchased these bath toys about 3 months ago. My daughter was about 6 months old at the time. She was just learning to sit upright in a bath seat. These toys are easy for her to grab out of the water and since they are soft she can mouth them. She is 9 months old now and teething like crazy. These are still some of her favorite bath toys. Especialy the fish! She smiles and lights up everytime she sees it.

Pros
  • The set is great for playtime outside of bathtime as well
Cons
  • The items may be too small and pose a choking hazard for young children

I love these little fellows and so does my new granddaughter

The baby is just learning how to sit upright for her nightly bath routine. She breaks into a huge grin when these little fuzzy floaters make their appearance. She loves to watch them floating around. It won't be long before she can grasp them for herself and discover the gentle squirts that they can do. They are soft and brightly colored. They dry very quickly when bathtime is over just by leaving them on a dry towel.

Pros
  • The set is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning
Cons
  • The strainer may be difficult to hold onto while in use

Revainrating 5 out of 5

baby loves! for my opinion

we got these when our baby was just around 2 months old and she liked them. we took them on vacation, use them for changing table distraction, etc. only thing is they can (we're told) develop mold so you have to dry them well and replace. but worth it-- we've bought more than once and totally worth $ to have fun bath time.

Pros
  • Place the Buoy in the water and watch as it lights up
Cons
  • The shapes of the items may be too complex for younger children to recognize

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Don’t buy. They still grow mold

Even though they screw apart they still collect mold. Just be careful. I got these hoping they could air out and dry but the problem is the way they are designed it’s impossible to get all of the water out of them to dry completely each time. I would not buy them again. They got thrown away.

Pros
  • It can offer your little one a new way to engage in imaginative play
Cons
  • The set may not be suitable for families who prefer more gender-neutral bath time toys

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love the idea good for me

So I love the idea of these. You can open to clean and dry out. But around the top of where you screw the lid on there is a section where water can get to and it’s so hard getting the water out. I’m not explaining it great but I can picture mold forming behind it so heads up. Otherwise we love these bath toys

Pros
  • The set can be a fun reward for good behavior
Cons
  • The lit-up buoy may be distracting for younger children during bath time routines
