Weird oil inside? for my opinion

When I opened these up and detached the lid it was coated in a weird oil like substance. I returned for a replacement and the replacement had it as well. I really don’t know what to think about this. I don’t feel very comfortable letting my kid play with it when I have no clue what it is. I’ll add that it was a month or so between purchases as it was a birthday present too.

It can help you extend bathtime without feeling like you're wasting water

The set may not be suitable for families who prefer more minimalistic bath time toys
