This worked great - I finally got it bought a cheap rocker switch bracket and installed it through my truck's firewall (which is plastic and will need to be drilled for this purpose) No. The harness switch has a built in LED that stays on making it easy to find at night (I've decided to use it in the lower right corner of the driver's seat on the underside of the dashboard where there was already a screw to screw the toggle switch bracket in. The Lund LED panel is very bright so I would be wary of driving it on the highway unless , you want to be noticed.
