If you're using Rodecaster Pro and Podmics you probably need to keep the gain really high. This transfers the noise of the preamps into the Rodecacster Pro and amplifies the ambient noise. Cloudlifter provides up to 20dB of additional boost for your podmics. We managed to significantly reduce profit. You simply transfer phantom power from the Rodecaster Pro to the Cloudlifter and then connect your Rode Podmics to the Cloudlifter. Your microphones are not supplied with phantom power. Works great!
