When I opened the package and examined the heatsink, I noticed that some of the fins were discolored and also looked loose. The fins appear to have been raised slightly. I'm not sure if it was a manufacturing defect or shipping damage. I tested the device outside of the computer and found no leaks. I didn't want to wait any longer so I didn't ask for a refund. About 1-2 months have passed since installation and everything is still dry. Even if the pace is quite high. My temps fluctuate between 60 and 80 during gaming sessions (which also depends on the game). FPS games typically run at 85 degrees +/-. I use distilled water so I can try Mayhem in the summer to see if the heat abates.
