Review on Superior 28 6202 Stainless Steel Exhaust by Joe Roberts

Product quality is good, finish is very nice, mounting brackets do their job well. However, be careful if you have two tailpipes next to each other. I installed two of them on my 2011 Golf TDI. The two exhaust pipes are only an inch apart where they become visible. The last 5 inches are about 2 1/4 inches in diameter, tapering to about 1 1/2 inches. To install these exhaust tips you will need to remove the brackets to overcome the larger diameter and then reattach 3 brackets to each nozzle while they are in place (a really clunky job but doable). Since the nozzles have a slanted opening (very nice) you should set them up so that the angle of inclination is the same at both ends. The problem is that the tip mounts stick out and the two tips are so close together that they have to occupy the same space (physically impossible!). The only way to install these tips on my car with built in brackets is to stagger the slanted holes (not good). My plan is to change these mounts or buy the much more expensive tips sold by VW. IF YOU HAVE SINGLE EXHAUST PIPES OR TWO EXHAUST PIPES THAT ARE ON EACH SIDE OF THE VEHICLE THEY WORK GREAT.
