This costume was absolutely adorable! I bought this for my golden retriever and it looked so cute! I went with the "brown with ears" option (it's the lighter of the two browns with ears) and it worked great with its color. It's like the color of Simba's mane in The Lion King just so you can have a good comparison. The packaging was very neat and the hair smooth and smooth. I was expecting it to be a bit cheap and bland but I was pleasantly surprised. It was definitely worth what I paid for it. The only downside was that it was easy for him to get rid of. They have an elastic band that you tighten around your neck, but my gold one was a little loose at the bottom because it wasn't big enough to fit around his chest. (He's about 65 pounds and a very fluffy gold). The fabric doesn't stretch. I found a simple solution: I cut the fabric where it lay under his arms and behind his shoulders, leaving enough room to fit comfortably around his chest and shoulders. Then I sewed 2 layers of fabric together where I made notches so they wouldn't tear. After that, I took strips of fabric I bought at a craft store and sewed straps from his chest, under his front legs, and behind his shoulders. Sewn by hand, it only took about 30 minutes and turned out great. He wore it to greet treat lovers and he stayed out all night. Everyone liked it!
