Installation is NOT that easy

This is a very nice mount AFTER installation is complete. Problems related to mounting screws and drilling holes in the wall. SCREWS For Samsung QN32Q50, the short 12mm M4 screws are too short. M4 35mm screws are too long. Again, if you use the supplied spacers with M4 35mm screws, these will be too short. You have to run to the hardware store and buy 20mm M4 screws. It was lag #1, a trip to Lowes/HD, but they have screws that size. It would be nice to add plastic spacers that could be made shorter. DRILLING A HOLE Two questions. The FIRST Height Finder online app (a good idea btw) suggests that you center the mounting plate over your TV's mounting holes, no matter where they are. If you do this on the QN32Q50 (VESA 100x100 template), the mounting plate will be above the TV (ugh!). Using staggered mounting holes will mount the TV 2 3/8 inches higher than desired IF you follow the altimeter instructions. I calculated the mounting height manually to avoid this problem. SECOND, on page 2, the installation instructions say: Use a 1/8" drill bit (single bolt mount). Check I have it. So you start drilling and you find that the lag screws are much longer than the standard drill. You then look very closely at Figure 5 on page 6 and realize that the fine print calls for a 2 3/4 inch hole depth. Did SANUS inform you about this before you start the installation on page 2? No, they didn't speak. Standard 1/8" drill bits only work to a depth of about 1 3/4". So to follow SANUS' instructions, you need to buy/order a 1/8" drill bit with a 6" shank for about $2.50-$3.50 more and wait for him to show it ( my Lowes and HD don't carry them). If you don't get the right bit, you could very well blow the heads off those lag bolts OR cause the lag bolt shank to shear in your hole that isn't deep enough. Since I don't want to risk it, this is DELAY #2, two days waiting for the drill. It also cost them $2.50, which is probably a lot less than $1). And no, I haven't checked the specific installation instructions or the required bit length.
