This docking station is probably the best I've used for Mac devices to date. There was an equally good dock, but Apple discontinued it and it was a lot more expensive than this dock. I've used this dock for the original touchpad models and even the newer M1 model with no problems. What's missing from some of those previous negative reviews is that Mac devices require you to install and run the Mac DisplayLink driver in order for it to output external displays. Without this driver, the dock will literally just power your Mac. Today it supports Mojave, Catalina and even Big Sur. If you need a dual monitor setup for your MacBook, I would recommend this option. This works the same for devices running Windows 10. You will also need a Displaylink driver. There are probably over 20 in my area and they all work as expected.
