Before trying anything else I went and ordered them to do some wood repairs around the house. First I tried using "crayons" on deeper scratches. not only was he difficult to work with, no matter what he was just bad at. I then tried the markers and they worked pretty much as expected, just like this style/design has done for decades. The negative with them depends on the color selection. The color of the markers does not match the tint of the marker. it's close, but not close enough. plus I usually had to do it twice when using them to get them dark enough. Unfortunately, nothing I've tried markers on has worked with existing wood. For some, these markers may work just fine. They are very easy to use and only take a few seconds to apply. However, since I've tried different products to accomplish the same task, I wouldn't use them a second time. I just can't recommend them at the moment.
