If you're looking for a soft, hospital-style cotton blanket, don't buy this one. See how tough and sticky it looks in the seller's photo? . how it is! I have washed and dried it as recommended on the label hoping it will soften up. It's shrunk about 2 inches in both length and width and is still as stiff as when it was purchased. This isn't my first cotton blanket - the others I've had have been soft (not fluffy, but soft and inviting) - it's hard and stiff. I took a picture of the "quilt" to show you; it rises easily to a height of about 18 inches without support. "Blanket" should not stand alone! I wish I could return it but now that I've washed it it doesn't seem kosher.
