Review on Renewed Logitech K800 Wireless 💡 Illuminated Keyboard: Brighter, Better, and More Convenient by Agata wistowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for the price.

I bought this keyboard again (logitech K800) due to remote control. Previously, I used it for 3-4 years, but one day, on the same day, three keys stopped working. I didn’t fill it, I didn’t eat over it . I cleaned the table. But the day before, relatives with children came, although the small ones said that they didn’t eat or drink anything over it, but . it’s already difficult to judge the cause of the breakdown. As a result, I had to temporarily return to the old wired curved keyboard from Microsoft. But nothing is as fickle as temporary . the price of logitech bite (as always), I decided to wait with the replacement. So two years have passed, we are all faced with a pandemic and sending everyone to a remote location. At work, I deal with calculations, constantly growing volumes, everything is urgent, work both with a computer and with papers. At home I have two laptops: a poppy and an old lenova. Lenova no longer pulls such a pace of work, incl. the remote was connected to the poppy. And on the first day I ran into problems: it’s unrealistic to work with numbers on the top keyboard of a poppy, the number of usb ports is limited (I also had to buy -1 usb to remote the printer and another -1 for the receiver for the mouse (logitech), and the poppy has only 2 of them) , changing layouts on the main computer (ios) + remote (windows) . each time a double shift. Connected wired through a splitter. Solved the problem of the number pad, but there was a problem of keyboard mobility. In short, I went and took logitech. Oddly enough, the problem with switching layouts was solved, a normal number pad, one usb receiver per mouse and keyboard. For other pluses, see above in the merits. The battery (judging by the old logitech k800) was enough for me for 3-4 weeks (enough for me). If you returned to it after a few years, then the keyboard has sunk into the soul, and is worth the money. Cons are banal. And the most significant for me are the sharp edges, because of them it is inconvenient to move it on the table with the edge of the palm of your hand. But this is easily treated after a guarantee with light grinding with a file))) And the keyboard is great! You will not regret!

Pros
  • Great keyboard Wireless Multiple devices can be connected to one USB receiver Low profile and soft Backlight Works well with both Windows and iOS
Cons
  • Price Latin and Cyrillic alphabet could be highlighted with colors Sharp edges all around
