retail version for Surface Go 2. It doesn't fit well and doesn't allow good contact of the Surface Dock plug-in. The material the case is made of is also very odd and can contribute to a poor fit. Over the years I've bought at least 50 cases for all phones and tablets and I've never come across such poor material choices for a protective case. It's like semi-rigid rubber that has aged and lost all of its elasticity. The material is too hard and inflexible to provide fall protection. When using the Surface as a wearable device, the case shifts every time you rotate it or move your hands. Over time, this will likely damage the metal surface where it rubs against the sides of the device. A sloppy landing spoils the impression of using the Surface as a portable device, especially with a stylus. I'm definitely sending it back for the poor quality of materials, poor fit, and inability to use the standard Microsoft dock that works with all Surface devices.
