Stops working shortly after use. Happy Ending

A strange experience. I really like the design which has no obvious branding. It seems to recognize my iPhone X placed on it, but the phone won't charge, so that kind of defeats the purpose. Unfortunately I donated the charger so we didn't realize it until it was too late to return it. Update 12/04/19: It turned out that the cable I was using was bad. Changed and all is well. Upgrade to 5 stars.
