Review on Premium ELECROW Portable 1280X800 Display with Built-In Speakers - Compatible with Raspberry Pi, 60Hz Refresh Rate by David Hamberger

Good monitor but with an inferior power supply so you can throw it in the trash.

The screen quality is very good and I really enjoyed using it. about a month. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that they put a super cheap, low quality power adapter connector that uses a mini USB port on the monitor and plugs into a standard USB port on your computer for power. After about a month of relatively light use, the mini-connector on the monitor came loose and curled up inside the case. It's been about a week since my return window expired so I didn't know what to do with this thing as the port was completely unusable. So I took it apart and looked at it, hoping I could fix it myself. I noticed that the mini connector on this thing is only attached to the monitor board on one side. So unless you press the connector exactly straight and apply pressure when you insert the power cord, the connector will literally bend and twist inside the case, preventing the power cord from connecting to it. and it's impossible to fix something once you've done it. I ended up throwing it in the trash after only 5 weeks of use, 3 of which were used very little. I would not recommend buying this monitor at all simply because I have seen and experienced what a cheap, inferior power connector was put on this thing. This might work for you if you're very careful with the mini-connector on the power adapter, but if you miss it and push too hard, your money will go straight to the bin.
