While I like my other Lowepro backpacks and bags this was a disappointment. On the plus side, it's very well made with quality materials. However, it is poorly designed and very little attention is paid to its use in the field. I'll get straight to the minuses: 1. There is neither a belt nor provisions for him. all you can do is hang it on your belt. There are no wrist straps or shoulder strap attachments, making it difficult to hang from a tripod. Of course you could leave it hanging on the center column hook, but then you'll come across c.2. The main zippered flap folds back easily. if you need a filter, you have to unpack it completely and *flop* it works. and then the filter tubes fall out. If the filter you need is not in front, you can use three hands to reach the filter, unless the bag is on a table, bench, or on the floor where you can step on it. if it hangs, ask for trouble.3. the inner front flap offers space for 2 round filters or adapters. Their maximum length is 77 mm. So if you have an 82mm front thread, they are useless to you. There is a third, large slit at the back. You have to flip all your filters to get there. Be careful not to let them fall out of your sleeves.5. Speaking of sleeves, they're great if you're using 4x6 inch filters. When they're 4" x 4", they're a little hard to get to.6. There is an external expandable pocket to conveniently store the filter holder. it's not soft, so don't leave the glass filter in the holder when you use it. It's also unlined, so don't leave the resin filter in place if you're using resin optical filters as the nylon can scratch them. The sleeves are unnecessarily thick and the whole bag almost doubles in size when full. You have to sacrifice some gear to fit in your bag and as said before it lacks any attachment options so it can't be attached to the outside of your bag without being creative. Sleeves don't have to be that thick. All of the accessory slots are practically useless to most people. It is impossible to use the bag without taking it off. and finally the entry feels so exposed. the slots must accommodate filters with a diameter of at least 82 mm, the outer housing must be lined at least, there must be a way of attaching a shoulder strap and a tripod mount and, most importantly, the main valve must be attached with elastic straps or bellows. so that it doesn't open but rather expands for entry and exit while remaining upright. As I was past the return deadline I threw it in the closet and replaced it with a bag of 10 Lowepro S&F SF100 filters. It has design issues that are just the opposite: doesn't stretch out enough to get in, flexible filter sleeves that don't reinsert filters, no room for a filter holder or other accessory, latches on the top valve that are difficult to reach once use . by hand etc. I now use a Ruggard FPB-3108B 10 filter bag with 10 filters of a similar size but excellent design although the build quality leaves something to be desired. Their bags, backpacks and bags are great, but Lowepro just can't get the filter packs right.
