Work as advertised.
I bought this Wii HDMI adapter because the original AV adapter stopped working, which would have allowed us to get higher resolution over HDMI (instead of component). Luckily it wasn't the Wii console's graphics, it was the output board that broke. This adapter allows us to continue using the Wii and offers an easy upgrade to modern HDTV.
