I made the mistake of listening to the reviews at bought a size larger than I measured. The size chart is probably spot on if you like a looser fitting jacket. UPDATE: This is not as waterproof as advertised. I was using it for a couple hours in a very light drizzle, more like a gentle mist, and when I opened the back charging port to charge it at the end of the night, the port was really wet inside. I had the orange plastic piece secured all night, and checked it several times over the evening, because I was nervous about water getting inside. This waterproofing spray worked wonders on my outdoor cushions. As my tests showed, the water beads up on the surface and rolls off instead of soaking in .It also helps PREVENT mildew growth.
