Review on ☕ Bodum 1928-16US4 Chambord French Press Coffee Maker - Chrome, 1L (34 oz) by Melissa Hart

I had a different French Press but chose this one for a number of reasons. I was looking for a smaller size as I only ever make coffee for myself in the morning and don't need an 8 cup size, I also need a stainless steel filter and the ability to wash everything in the dishwasher. What struck me as soon as I received this item is that it is a solid, well-made press. The filters feel strong and the top is pretty solid in size. Having the 17oz I have to say the width of the press is unusual and I was a little overwhelmed by how this extra wide design makes the filter feel when immersed. At first I honestly thought it was a design flaw as the piston doesn't push as easily as other presses I've had in the past. However, after using it a few times to make coffee, it works perfectly and I appreciate the added resistance when diving. The coffee it made was great, and I can't speak highly enough of the 17oz size if like me you're looking for a smaller press that would make 1 large cup of coffee (or 2 small cups).
